restrictions by lines question 1

hey guys,

just wandering if the can be done...

i have 4 lines on all phones. some phones i want to be able to dial out ONLY on line 4 (extn 234). however....when calls come in on lines 1 2 3 i still need to be able to transfer or answer them.

how would i set this up?

Use line/set restrictions. If the set has an appearance of a line, it can have a specific restriction filter setup for that line in set programming. Or you can just apply restriction filters to the lines themselves.

You can also just assign line 4 to the set, when you transfer line 1 2 or 3 they will ring in on the Intercom key.
Also can make lines just ring only instead of appear and ring, ring only is same where it will ring on the intercom.

or even put line 1 to 3 in pool A
Assign lines as ring only, allow access too Pool A (dial 9).
