I am creating a word template for my users and want to restrict them to use only certain colors and styles. Does anyone know how to restrict users from using these?

Hi noahaz,

I don't think there's any practical way to do that and, even if you were able to, the users could still use hard formatting (as many already do) to change the appearance of a given style.

Cheers

What about setting the styles under protect document? Isn't there a way to set the toolbars so they only are granted access to certain tools?

Hi noahaz,

Protecting a document won't get you very far. If protected for forms (the only option that gives any control over input) your users won't be able to enter anything except in formfields and/or unprotected sections. The latter, of course gives them access to styles and other formatting options.

Cheers
