You didn't say what version or platform you have, but on the Call Manager release 8x I know it is possible. On the main Device configuration screen scroll down below the big Question Mark and you can restrict it there on a phone by phone basis. The parameter is called "Settings Access" and it is normally enabled by default. You can choose to disable it here.
Thanks Mitel! I did see that. I am not in front of it now but doesn't that restrict other items as well as rings? I believe there was something that it did restrict besides the ring, I just can't remember right now. Going to have to test that again. Thanks for your reply.
