Restricting Email Delivery to a Mailbox

I want to restrict delivery of email to our helpdesk account to only receive messages sent from within our domain. Is there a way to do this?

If you deleted their SMTP email address in their mailbrx properties, this would allow them to receive internal, but not external mail ?
