I work at a University, and next semester one of the lecturers wants his students to be able to work with IIS 5.0. The desktop is 2K Professional - I know under 2K Server you can restrict all connections to 127.0.0.1, but 2K Pro won't allow you to do that.
He's of the opinion that Default Web Site -> Properties -> Web Site -> Advanced -> change multiple identities from all available addresses to 127.0.0.1 will lock all IIS traffic to the localhost.
I'm in the process of testing it but would appreciate any pointers or suggestions.
