Hi there

I have a user that i dont want to send external email. Can some tell me how to do this?

I have put the user in restrictions in the SMTP connector, and removed their email addresses leaving only username@internal.only

they can still quite happily send external mails. I have heard there is a registry setting that needs to be changed? if anyone knows, please share!!

Thanks in advance

Thank you mate - that is excellent!!

Just one more question. the person in questions email address still needs to recieve mail.

So - do i restrict it on the SMTP connector (and make the reg change) and then apply her email address to another user? will that work?

Cheers

I would test by just doing this part:

Internet Mail SMTP Connectors you have for your organization. Go into the Properties for each connector and select the Delivery Restriction tab. Add the accounts in question to the Reject Messages From list.

I think that should do it for you.

I hope you find this post helpful.
