Restoring main Foxpro IDE (VFP 6.0 SP5)

I have a very strange problem with my main Foxpro window. When I click on the Restore Button of the main VFP window, Fox minimized in the Windows (Windows ME) taskbar. If I click on the small pesky Fox face to maximize or restore it, the main window does not reappear. I have to right click to maximize the IDE, or close the window. I think it has someting with the registry but ... well I don't know. I had this behaviour with an other version of Windows (98 and 98 SE) and the only way I found was to reinstall everything.

I'd assume you've somehow gotten the VFP Desktop settings "wrong".
If you're familiar and comfortable using REGEDIT to check/change the registry, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualFoxPro\6.0\Desktop . My current settings are:

"Zoomed"="0"
"Row"="0"
"Column"="0"
"Height"="838"
"Width"="1152"
"FontName"="MS Sans Serif"
"FontStyle"="1"
"FontSize"="8"
"FontCharSet"="1"
"PrtFontName"="FoxPrint"
"PrtFontStyle"="0"
"PrtFontSize"="10"

Yours may differ, but pay attention in particular to the first 5 above.
