Restoring Catalog to a DRMaster

Hello,

Does anyone have any method of restoring the Catalog to a DR Master server. The DR master server box is not identical to its production server. The only similarity that they share is the server name. Also they are not connected to the same type of robot (Production=l700 and DR=L180). We currently load the Catalog on to our DR media server then only copy over the Images directory to our DR master Server. Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

I would do the following:

1. load up the Netbackup software.
2. Patch Netbackup if needed....
3. bprestore from the production.
4. Disable all the policies...
5. Delete all the tape drives....
6. Either change or delete the robot..
7. re-add the robot back in...
8. readd the drives back in...
9. Restart Netbackup processes

Have you tried a simple bprecover of the catalog after you restore your OS?
