Restore the "Jobs" in Backup Exec 1

I recovered a server, but did not restore the Veritas folder in Program Files because I have had trouble with Veritas after the restore in the past when I did. Consequently, I would have to rebuild all of the Backup Jobs.

This is obviously getting old and time consuming, so what seems like a simple question that I cannot find any info about do to a keyword problem (see: Googling for "Restore Backup Exec Jobs") I can't find the answer.

So if you know how to A. Where "Job" info is stored in the Veritas folder so that I can copy it back from a redirected restore of Veritas, or B. How to directly restore just the "Jobs" back into a working Veritas program, I would be very appreciative.

restore the bedb.bak file from tape
Normally located in program files\veritas\backup exec\nt\data folder

Then use the beutility to recover database and drop existing and reload from backup

Thanks Steve. I needed to do a bit more than that, but you put me on the path, so you get a star.

Just in case anyone happens upon this post, this is what I did:

1. Redirected restore of the Veritas folder
2. Copy all of the files from the restored Catalog folder to the new Catalog folder
3. In the Data folder, rename bedb.bak to bedb_old.bak
4. Copy bedb.bak and all of the .xml files from the restored Data folder to the new Data folder
5. Open beutility (located in \program files\veritas)
6. Add a new server
7. Right click on the new server and choose Drop Existing and Reload from Backup
