Restore Sql 200 database on Version 7

is there anyway i can restore a Sql server 2000 backup on version 7..or any other way i can use the same database on version perhaps by attching the database

Everything I have seen says you can't go backwards.

You can restore a SQL Server 7 to SQL Server 2000, but not the other way.

Correct, you can not go backwards. To get a database from SQL 2000 to SQL 7 you will have to recreate the tables and DTS the data over.
