Restore of a mailbox, starting from priv.EDB file - please help! 1

Hi!

I managato to restore a 2000 exchange database.

Problem is: this exchange 5.5 does not exist any longer.

Is there any way to "exmerge" file from priv.edb (basically I have to restore one mailbox)

I found original Exchange 5.5 server and NT 4 server installation CD.

What can I do?

Please help!!

Try a software called PowerControls. It does exactly what you are saying from an edb file. No exchange install necessary.
