Hi Gang,
I have a Windows XP system and the disk drive might be failing. I continue to receive Event ID 7, the disk has a bad sector or block. So I preparing to swap the disk out, I've created a Backup through NTBackup, however when it came time to create an ASR, I didn't have a floppy drive, so the ASR creation failed.
1) Must I have a Floppy to perform a restore?
2) How do I create an ASR, since I have a backup file?
