I am using BE9.1 on W2K Server. I am trying to restore a folder that a user deleted. When I go into the selection list for the restore there are no red marks across the backup I am trying to restore from and I have no problem selecting the dir and files show in the selection list but when I run it comes back with Error A00084ca The data being read from the media is inconsistent. Any thoughts?

Thanks
Michael

When I do a restore I have to go back to the latest full backup. in the restore tab. under GENERAL there is some options to check... 1 is restore over existing file, or 2 skip if file exists or 3 skip iffile is more recent. I have not had this error. but wonder if you look more closely at the different options.

I am restoring to a non-existing directory since the user deleted the entire dir. I am using Restore over existing files and I tried it once with the restore corrupt files option checked once. Same error no matter what.
