Restore Error E8512

I'm having trouble restoring files on my novell box. I'm getting the following error:

E8512 Invalid client agent address format (ADDRESS=)
0 Directories 0 Files (0 KB) Restored to Disk.

Here's my environment:

ArcServe is running on a NT 4.0 (ArcServe SP3) system and backups novell through the agent with a IP connection. Also the novell box has OFA on it. The NT box has novell client 4.83 with the latest patch for the client.

What version of NetWare are you running and at what Service Pack level is it patched to? -----------------------------------------------------

I'm running netware 5 with sp4.

According to the CA website, this error is caused by "The format of the TCP/IP or IPX/SPX address is incorrect". In true CA fashion (are you reading this Jim?), there is no resolution listed.

You say you are running NetWare 5. Is that 5.0 or 5.1? If it is 5.0, download the latest TSA agents from

http://download.novell.com

- or even the latest Support pack which is SP6a. If it is 5.1, you should already be running them as SP4 is the latest Support Pack. -----------------------------------------------------
