I accidently deleted computer account from AD and restored it back from using ldp.exe. It was restored back to AD as disabled account. I enabled the account and tried to login and I was not able to loginto that computer, error was cannot find the domain controller.
Was the SID deleted when the account was deleted and restored?
Did I do something wrong, I was expecting to login with out any problem? Also tried to reset computer account and still didnt work.
I re-joined the domain and it took care of it. but what's the best way to take care of this situation.
any suggestion for future on what to do in this situation?
