does anyone know how to get a service to restart itself. I'm working an a service with a built in to host a interface. I want to be able to restart the service from one on the web pages. any ideas?

restart a service

Once a service is stopped it can not then start itself, because it is "stopped". Therefore, I would suggest that your service starts another process that stops and starts your service. The process could stop and start the service with something as simple as a batch file, or you could write a little program that stops and starts your service.
