Resource Files, good or bad?

Is there any draw back to resource files? -db

I've never found any, apart from the fact that it sometimes takes a little more coding to use them than a solution that doesn't. Others may have a different experience.

I use them without any problems. I like to keep imagea and icons that will be used on different forms in the resource file. Also error messages that could be used on different forms. Thanks and Good Luck!

How do you coordinate them across multiple projects for n-tier development (since resource files are tied to VB projects)?

You can add the same resource file to multiple projects. Therefore I would assume that you can edit it in one project design time IDE and the changes would be visible in another project design time IDE. Thanks and Good Luck!
