Resolution exporting to pdf 1

I have created 1 main report with 8 subreports. Each subreport displays a graph. When I use the export function within Crystal Reports to pdf, the resolution is not very high. However, if I use Adobe PDF writer and print to PDF, I can select the resolution to get a better quality report. The problem with this is that a border is placed around each subreport.

I need to be able to either:
change the resolution when exporting to pdf
or
remove the borders when printing to pdf

Please help me someone!!
