Reset all Permissions on Drive

I have a hard drive from my old PC of which I should have reset the permissions on before removing it from the old PC. However, now I am attempting to move the files from the old drive to a new drive. During this file transfer, some of the files give me problems because of the existing permissions on the drive.

How do I clear out all of the permissions for all files and folders on the drive? I do not have a Security Tab when I view file or folder properties. I have tried using SetACL.exe and SubInACL.exe, but either they didn't work, or I did not execute the correct command line(s).

Is it a FAT32 drive rather than NTFS?

Have you disabled any setting in Folder Options/ View, concerning "Use Simple File Sharing", you would have to do so to see the Security Tab.

Can you see the Security Tab via Safe Mode?

Anything you run such as SubInAcl etc. make sure you are running them as an Administrator.
