I have a hard drive from my old PC of which I should have reset the permissions on before removing it from the old PC. However, now I am attempting to move the files from the old drive to a new drive. During this file transfer, some of the files give me problems because of the existing permissions on the drive.
How do I clear out all of the permissions for all files and folders on the drive? I do not have a Security Tab when I view file or folder properties. I have tried using SetACL.exe and SubInACL.exe, but either they didn't work, or I did not execute the correct command line(s).
