RES 5.7.6 - Desktop Client not working with DHCP

I have a similar issue with RES 5.7.6 - as a few of my users / managers use laptops instead of desktops.

Does anyone know of a fix for this in order for them to use the client ?

Give them static ip's or allow them to remote into a backoffice client
