on a regular basis!

Does anyone know what constitutes a regular basis? This is a setting in the CF Administrator telling CF to restart itself if requests terminate abnormally on a regular basis. But what is a regular basis? ONce per hour? Once ever 10 minutes? What???

It seems to be happening a lot on one of our servers. What could cause this to 'happen on a regular basis'?
