Hi,

I am new to Business Objects. I have completed Dimensional modelling and loading data in SQL Server 2000. I would like to create repository in SQL Server 2000 for this database. How would you create repository in SQL Server 2000? Do you create universe first or repository first?

Thanks in advance

Break out the Supervisor Guide. Read Chapter 2: Installing the Repository. It's very simple.

You can build universes without a repository. It only takes a minute to build the repo, so why not get it over with. Steve Krandel

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply. When you are defining Repository connection, as a supervisior when you click set up on "Administrative Setup wizard - Step 3/5", when you click setup, in database engine combo box, only MSAccess97 and MSAccess2000 are displayed. I would like to create repository in SQL Server 2000, Please let me know what I need to do?

Thanks in advance
