reports hanging in pending

we have reports hanging in pending from time to time, and haven't been horribly concerned about it, however a new group just added content to our system and they need scheduling to work perfectly; we have been around in circles with sap, so figured I'd post here: anyone have this issue? reports hanging for hours in pending when job servers look FINE/empty?

found some info on this possibly being a scheduling bug from previous versions. boxi 3.1 sp5

What type of reports are these? Crystal, Webi, Deski?

the scheduling function itself seems to be in question.

We have had an issue on BI 4.0 with reports hanging when we specified the report to run on a particular server on a clustered environment. I do not believe we ever found a solution.
