I have been asked to monitor our SQL servers using performance monitor (sql2k, win2k) and then to provide a weekly report summarizing the information, and also showing a breakdown of the details. The only way I can find to get information out of performance monitor is to save it as a webpage or as a tab delimited file. This would be fine except there doesnt seem to be an easy way to get this info into excel in a format that makes sense for keeping records. Has anyone else encountered and solved this problem?
