Reporting attempt to access shared folder

Is it possible to set up a shared folder on a Win2K Server so that a message is sent to an administrator if that folder is accessed? The message could be via net send, or via a 3rd party program, or even by writing a text message to another shared folder, it doesn't matter. What I'm wondering is how to make the accessing of a folder a trigger.
