Report Prints only the Shortcut Picture

I have in my database linked documents (both PowerPoint and Word). Just for fun, when I inserted the objects I checked 'display as icon'. Now, when I print the report, instead of getting the linked document I get the *icon* instead of the document! Is there a way to have the icon appear in a form but have the actual document print out in a report?
