When trying to open up a report which includes subreports in my LIMS system, the report is erroring out saying it cant connect with my ODBC. The exact error message that I am receiving is:

534 error detected by DATA BASE DLL
Execute <PEStartPrintJob>

I think that this problem has something to do with having subreports included in the report, because when i delete the subs the report opens up. Any reason as to why this might be happening would be appreciated.

Try to learn what version of Crystal you're using.

If you believe the subreports to be the culprit, try saving one of the subreports out as a seperate file and then running it.

Are you launching this report from an application other than Crystal Reports itself?

The error appears to demonstrate that, so if that is the case, you need to speak with the developers to learn how they handled subreports, or if they do...

Anyway, please remember to at least post your Crystal version.
