Report Designer and existing reports

I have several existing Crystal 8.5 reps that I want to incorporate into a VB application (a kind of wrapper app).

Importing the reports into the report designer is fairly straightforward - but it would be useful (from a team point of view) to be able to keep amending the repor rpt files seperately.

Is it possible to link the report to the RDC or otherwise update the report?

You can update the DSR (from within VB) or you can maintain the files as RPT files and simply run the RPT from within the RDC. No importing necessary. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
