Replication Questions- Site and InterSites

Hi:

What is the differences between sites and intersites.
I have 3 domain controllers, and by default all are configured in the sites area. Do i still need to configure them as intersites?

Only if they are connect by "slow" links (think WAN). If they're all on the same subnet / LAN, then don't worry about it. You should define all of your IP subnets either way (they can all be assigned to the same site).
