Replication Publication Error 14294 1

I am trying to create a Publication on a database for replication and all goeas well until the ;ast phase of the wizard where I get the following error :-

"SQL Server Enterprise Manager could not create the publication.
Error 14294: Supply either the @job_id or the @job_name to identify the job."

Can anyone tell me what i`ve done wrong ?. Thanks.
