I've set up Transactional Replication between two sql2000 servers over the internet. It works beautifully. However on the publishing server once a connection is made the server keeps polling the subscription server to port 139. I've installed SP3. Replication works fine, every 15 minutes but just opening enterprise manager and the server group seems to initiate this connection 'fix'. ????
