Replication - Cannot see msde from server

I am trying to set up replication from my sql server to my pc which is running MSDE. The msde runs/works fine on the pc, but I can't see it from the server. When I try to register the my pc (pc with msde) from the server, it tells me it can't find the server (my pc) I am trying to register.

I appreciate any help or pointers.
