I've purchased a refurb M2250 to replace the failing one we currently use. After this replacement, I will also need to move the BLF that is on the current one to this refurb one, but cannot find any instructions on how to do so. Any hints/tips/pointers on how to do this? Since we have always had a BLF on our M2250, there shouldn't be and config changes, are there?

Thanks,

Hende

not any config changes in the switch but there is a maint screen on the console that you have to modify, i don't think i have that manual, comes with the blf, if i needed one i would try nortels website.. i can check my merl's tomorrow

Thanks John, any help you can provide would be appreciated. It's currently 3 AM here, and I've started the swap. I disabled the card, unseated it, replaced the console, then reseated and enabled the card. The console powers on, but it reads DIAGNOSTICS on the bottom of the display, and the time and date do not sync up. I'm guessing there is something simple I'm missing, but I can't figure it out. I'll keep working on it until 8.

Thanks,

Hende

John,

I read a different post you had about the DIAGNOSTICS, and I've moved the switch on the bottom back and forth and it will not come out of that mode. Maybe it's a bad console? And, I don't even know the diagnostics mode password.

I would still appreciate information on replacing the BLF, if you are able to find it. I only found user guides at the Nortel site, no installation instructions.

Thanks,

Hende
