Replace G700 expansion cabinet 1

Can we replace a G700 expansion cabinet without reprogramming the system? Is there a procedure that someone can point me to (assuming it's more than power down and physically replace)?

Brison, the G700 if part of a stack you still need to configure the MGP the STACK, and VOIP.
Each get their respective IP addresses, Default Gateways, and IP Routes and MGC List for registration.
It is also a good idea to ensure the replacement G700 has the same level of Firmware running as the rest of the Stack.

That's how you reprogram the new device. Ultimately, the serial number is what tells the system which gateway it is and what configurations are in place on each module.

If you're running 5.2 or older, the system license is tied to one specific piece of hardware - either the serial number of an IPSI card in a G650 or the serial number of a media gateway. If the gateway that died happened to be the one the system license was tied to, someone needs to go in RFA and do a serial number license swap.

Kyle555 is correct, if the G700 is the primary MGP in the stack and CM is registered to it, then a Lic swap is needed.
You can run a test license command in the SAT terminal and a simple "statuslicense" in the shell.
Or though the SMI /Maintenance/Serial Number
