Hi all,

Running a Single flat NT domain with various servers(web, file, print, db, exchange).

Internal Audit is now requiring us to rename our administrator account. I was wondering is there any pitfalls or side-effects if we do so?

I can only think of re-configuring any services that are currently using the Adminstrator account.
Is there any other things I should be worried about?

Thanks

Other than what you mentioned, I see no other issues.
Its good practice to rename your administrator account. Then you can rename you guest account to administrator and audit that to see if anyone is trying to access the server as admin. Then bust em.
