I dont like the name of my main user account. That name also goes onto cookies in temp. internet files. I have renamed the username and the new name shows in the my documents under my computer. But if I go the long way thru C: documents and settings it shows the old username. It also shows the old username in the address bar path. Is there a way to edit the main username on an xp machene. I tried some stuff in computer management, users and groups and renamed it there but then the documents folder in my computer disapered. I tried something in the regestry and it had no effect on the folder name. Any help....?????????????????

You can use your current profile and use it to copy to a new one.
Then you move over your data.
