I'm having alot of trouble with XP and want to get my 98se back...can someone tell me what i have to do to install 98se onto my computer... thx.

You will need the following:

1. Win98 Boot disk - you can aquire from if you do not have one.

2. Win98se CD

To Do:

Change you BIOS so that your floppy is the first boot device

If you are using NTFS on XP - Boot to the Win98 floppy with no cdrom support and run fdisk. Remove all partitions, create a partition, and activate the partition you will use as your boot drive.....Reboot

Boot to Win98 Floppy with no cdrom support and format you new partitions....Reboot

Boot to Win98 floppy with cd-rom support and cd to the cdrom drive. Type setup and it will walk you through the rest.

if you upgraded from 98 to xp, then you should have the option to remove xp in the add remove settings.
