removing windows me

how do i remove windows me completely from my computer.install windows 98.thank you lioncat56@insightbb.com

Use a Win98 startup floppy to format the hard-drive and then install Win98 with the Win98 cd..

FYI, to remove WinMe I had to first delete the directory _RESTORE, use attrib -h -s -r -this allows this directory to be shown for deletion,then use deltree, then re install Win98-ps I did go back using WinMe, since I run an overclock machine, WinMe doesn't give me the Blue Screens of Death that Win98 did-just FYI from my part experience.

FYI, you don't have to go through all that trouble.. Formatting wipes out everything on the hdd INCLUDING the _Restore folder..
