I have my hard drive with two partitions. On first partition, it is windows xp, and the other is windows 2000. Can I change boot.ini and remove the entry for windows 2000 and then format the patition holding windows 2000? If yes, what will be the steps.
As long as your system partition (the one with boot.ini, ntldr...) is not the one where windows 2000 resides you can delete that parttion, and modify the boot.ini file to not launch any OS from that partition. Gia Betiu
