Hi,

We recently terminated 2 employees in the organization and I would like to remove them from our global address book without de-activating their accounts for the time being. Is there a way to do this? Seemsa like I used to know how this is done, but I am hitting a wall trying to remember.

Thanks

We have 2 Win2K machines in the office, one is a file server, the other is an E2k server. I just noticed if I go into Active directory Users and Computers on the E2k server that I can go into the user's properties and there is an Exchange Advanced tab in there, but not on the file server. On the E2K server, I can select "hide from exchange address lists", but this isn't on the file server. Of course, that makes sense I suppose, but if I select it, I can still see the user in the global address book. I thought this might be the trick in removing the terminated employees from the global address book. Am I doing something wrong?

D'oh!

I solved the problem. Went into Users and Computers on the file server and selected advanced view. The Exchange Advanced tab then showed up and now my terminated employees are not listed in the address book anymore. Maybe this will be helpful to others...

Have a good day all.
