Removing the "Remember Password" option.

I have a user that has configured the remember password option, on a drive in a remote control room. After he did that it quite working. Now he is unable to logon because he gets the message that his user name is invalid. But it does not provide a way to change the settings.

Is there a way to clear the password cache or to turn this option off?
