Removing SearchCentral.cc

Greetings fellow spyware/malware/hijack victims.

I've searched for a solution, but thus far, none can be found. After our XP Pro box reboots, the home page keeps being re-routed to searchcentral.cc.

Hijackthis presents 3 entries that when removed seem to make it back after a reboot. Anyone know how to solve this?

Disable it. Remove entries. Reboot. You should be ok.

Thanks everyone... I was missing a script that was re-installing it...

carrr: thanks, I have also disabled system restore prior to the attempts, now that the pesky script that was running via run once is outa there, all is well.
