Hi. I am trying to lockdown my WinXp computer, so users cannot fiddle around with anything. I have used gpedit.msc to configure a number of things I want.

However, I cannot seem to get rid of the "Printers and Faxes" Icon that appears on the Start menu. I do not want users clicking on this icon, so its important for me to get rid of it.

Anyone know how?

Thanks,

right-click the Start button, Properties, Advanced
uncheck 'Printers and Faxes'
This will be preserved in your Default profile during Sysprep.
