ugh.../me breaks out the bat.
I'm trying to remove office 2000 sr-1 standard.
When I go to the add / remove programs I get this error:
The description for Event ID ( 10000 ) in Source ( MsiInstaller ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Product: Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Standard -- Some default settings in Microsoft Office 2000 setup do not work properly on a Windows Terminal Server. To install Office on Terminal Server, you must use the instructions and tools available in your Office 2000 Resource Kit or at (NULL), (NULL), (NULL), (NULL), (NULL), (NULL).
This is on a w2k terminal server for citrix. I tried searching the ms support site with no luck.
I have tried renaming the registery settings as mentioned here:
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\X.0
Also have tried deleting the entire office directory, tried 2 registery cleaners. Tried reinstalling office2000 sr-1 standard. No luck with any of them.
Im out of ideas. Any recommendations would be helpful.
Thanx
