Removing motherboard manufacturer's welcome message from bios??

Short answer is you can't. Longer answer is you possible can but it will take longer than you have. Has to do with replacing the bios code that splashes it. You will need machine language capability, promburning capability, and possibily SMT soldering capability. Forget it. Ed Fair

My BIOS (Intel SE440BX) is capable of doing the following
I changed my logo by flashing it... if you have an Intel motherboard then you can download the utility to create and modify the spash screen
There is an option in the BIOS under basic options to turn the splash off completely
You can also press escape as soon as the logo appears to get rid of it so you can see the POST of thats what you want
