I need to free up some space on nt server. The lic98 file has 185 mb. I am wondering if it is safe to remove this file. Here is some research I found on the file

The lic98 subsystem maintains a licensing error log file, lic98.log, in the ca_lic directory. The ca_lic directory is located by default on the root of your system drive (/ca_lic or c:\ca_lic). On Windows NT/2000 systems, license warnings will also be recorded in the application event log, from a source of ca_lic.

Can someone advise me if I can remove this file with causing my system to become unstable or to crash. In

Is this the lic98.log file?

Matt J.
