Removing Call Alert Tone(Beep)

Is it possible to remove the beep,leaving just the whisper for incoming calls to agents.We are currently running CM2 but will be likely to upgrade to CM3 if that makes any difference?

if you mean a zip tone that plays after vdn of origin announcement, then it's ch sys fe page 10, "hear zip tone following voa?" field. turn it off.
if you mean a zip tone that is used with auto-answer feature to indicate an incoming call, then i don't think you can turn it off. otherwise, how an agent would know he's connected to a caller?
 
Thanks for that it was the latter that I meant.One of my colleagues said that we could do it on CM3 and just have the whisper and not the beep but wasn't sure about CM2.
