Hi,

We have a spreadsheet that was created using Excel 2003. The data comes from a query and contains (amongst other things) a column for account number and a column for product code. The sql is set to sort on product code, which worked fine. However, the user then decided to sort on account number, which they did by adding a sort through Excel. This effectively overrides the sort in the sql and whenever the query is refreshed, the data is sorted in account code order. However, we now want to sort by product code again.

Initially, we tried to remove the Excel sort altogether, but Excel will not let us set the sort to "None". We then tried to sort through Excel by product code. This works until you refresh the query at which point the results get sorted by account number once again. If you go back into the Sort in Excel, you can see that the sort has been changed back to account number.

Ideally, what we want to do is remove all Excel sorts, and simply rely on the sort specified in the query. Any help would be much appreciated.
