hi ya all,
I've got the computer with win98 removed "by force"; the win2k was installed as 2nd OS and win98 folder was simply deleted; everything is working fine if user select the win2k when rebooting;
the problem I would like to solve is that win98 is still showing as a option in the rebooting process; can you give me a guideline as how can I remove win98 option? Sylvano

You'll need to either
1. edit the boot.ini file to remove the Win98 entry..it is a hidden file on c:
OR
2.right click My Computer--Properties--Advanced--Startup and Recovery then make sure the Default Operating System is Windows 2000 and uncheck 'Display list of...'

thx, I am running XP but your answer was close enough Sylvano
