I find that after I run "Spy Sweeper" and remove some viruses I always end up not being able to reach the internet. I keep getting the "page cannot be displayed" almost as if I am not connected to the internet. I jusrt ran Spy Sweeper and removed 2 infected files from a computer with Windows XP Pro. As soon as I rebooted it went to a previous restore point and I said OK. Now it comes up with Page cannot be displayed. DO I have to run a repair with XP to get this to work again? What would should be my next step?

It worked perfectly. Thanks. The only problem is that there is a tool bar "aboutsearch" at bottom of screen that I cannot eliminate.

Take a look at "What are Good Virus/Spyware?Update/Firewall Practices?" faq779-5240

The BHOCop software should sort you out.
